Description

Nalangu Maavu is a traditional South Indian herbal body powder that has been used for centuries as a natural alternative to soap — especially at weddings, puberty ceremonies, and auspicious rituals. Village Masala’s Nalangu Maavu is a carefully formulated blend of turmeric, green gram flour, sandalwood powder, rose petals, nalangu arisi (kollu/varagu), and other traditional herbs that gently cleanse, exfoliate, and nourish the skin without synthetic chemicals or harsh surfactants.

Mix a tablespoon of Nalangu Maavu with water, rose water, or raw milk to form a smooth paste. Apply to the body and face in gentle circular motions, allow to dry for 5–10 minutes, then rinse. Regular use improves skin texture, reduces tan and blemishes, and leaves the skin naturally soft and fragrant. Suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin.
